Scott Evans (19) scored twice for the Blue Hens.
10:50 a.m., March 17, 2003--Michael Solazzo scored four goals, including three in a pivotal 6-1 run in the third quarter, to lift the University at Albany to a 16-12 men's lacrosse victory over the University of Delaware on Saturday afternoon, March 15, at Rullo Stadium.

UD will now prepare for a Colonial Athletic Association match against Towson University at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 22, again at Rullo Stadium.

The Blue Hens (4-3), who had their longest win streak in three seasons snapped at three, got three goals each from freshmen Kurt Nordhoff and Xander Ritz. Albany (2-2), coached by former Blue Hen assistant Scott Marr, snapped a two-game losing streak.

Nordhoff, who also dished out two assists, scored all three of his goals in the final six minutes of the game in a rally that fell short. Ritz, who also dished out an assist, scored all three of his goals in the second half.
