June 24, 2003— Michael Scott Ashley Sr., 38, of Newark, died Tuesday, June 17.

A 1982 graduate of Christiana High School, Mr. Ashley earned his bachelor’s degree in 1986 and his master’s degree in exercise physiology in 1988, both from UD.

He was the owner of Mike Ashley's Personal Fitness Training.
