Jan. 8, 2003—Charles E. Lloyd, 83, who worked in the maintenance department at UD from 1968-84, died Saturday, Jan. 4, at Christiana Hospital.

Mr. Lloyd served in the Army during World War II and then was a local farmer in Newark for approximately 16 years. Before coming to UD, he worked in the maintenance department of the Delaware Department of Transportation for 15 years.
