Harrington Theatre presents ‘Godspell’ in February

10:35 a.m., Feb. 14, 2003-- Harrington Theatre Arts Company presents six performances of “Godspell” from Feb. 14-22, at the Bacchus Theatre in the Perkins Student Center.

The play, which is being produced entirely by University students, tells the story of the last seven days of Christ’s life, based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew. However, this musical version offers viewers a contemporary twist, transforming Christ’s followers into flower children who sing a host of songs including the internationally acclaimed hit “Day By Day”.

Tickets are $5 for general admission and $3 for students and seniors. Performances are scheduled for:
  • 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 14,
  • 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15,
  • 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 16,
  • 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb 20,
  • 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 21, and
  • 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22.
