Multiple direct deposits option available to UD employees

1:55 p.m., July 1, 2003--UD employees now will have the option of having their direct payroll deposit divided between two separate bank accounts.

Employees wishing to chose this latest payroll option should visit the Human Resources and Payroll Systems web site at [www.udel.edu/HRSystemsAdmin/proforms.html] and click on “Direct Deposit Authorization Forms.”

A downloadable multiple-account direct deposit authorization form is available at the site. The form, which must be returned to Human Resources and Payroll Systems, Room 268, 413 Academy St., must be accompanied by a voided check or pre-printed savings account deposit slip showing bank account numbers for each account listed.

“The Human Resources unit has mounted a customer service campaign to assure that we are providing the best available services to both new and continuing employees,” Maxine Colm, UD vice president for administration, said. “With the implementation of the PeopleSoft HR/Benefits system, we are now able to accommodate a long-expressed employee interest in having direct deposits made to more than one bank.”
