All employees must confirm benefits choices online

9:45 a.m., May. 21, 2003--UD’s 2003 Benefits Open Enrollment period has been extended through May 27. During this time, employees can verify or change and confirm their benefit elections by logging on to use FlexNet. To log on, employees will need:
  • A computer with Internet access;
  • Their Social Security Number; and
  • Their PIN (Personal Identification Number).

Employees who don’t have a PIN, or have forgotten it, should check with their department’s HR liaison.

Effective with this plan year, the state personnel office requires each covered employee (not just those making benefit changes) to confirm their benefits choices online through FlexNet.

This year (and every annual open enrollment hereafter), a completed “Spousal Coordination of Benefits Policy” form will be required of employees who cover their spouses under their health plans. This form is available online in PDF format at [www.udel.edu/flexnet.htm]. Completed forms should be returned to the Office of Human Resources at 413 Academy St.

Human Resources staff are available to answer questions about Flexible Benefits and enrollment. For more information, call 831-2171 or send an e-mail to [ben-serv@udel.edu].

For the convenience of employees who need assistance and for those who do not have access to the Internet, a computer work station is available in the Office of Human Resources at 413 Academy St. from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
