'Global Governance' workshop set Oct. 18-19

Oct. 16, 2002--The UD Department of Political Science and International Relations hosts a conference on “Contending Perspectives on Global Governance” Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18-19. The workshop brings together roundtable participants from nine institutions in the U.S. and abroad.

Free and open to the public, presentations and roundtable discussions will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30-5 p.m., Friday, in the Trabant University Center. Saturday’s workshop session runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the MBNA America Hall.

The workshop will explore global governance from a variety of contending analytic perspectives. Participants include:

  • Tim Dunne, University of Wales-Aberystwyth

  • Giovanni Arrighi, Johns Hopkins University

  • Robert O’Brien, McMaster University
