Babiarz Park
John E. Babiarz, AS '37, former mayor of Wilmington, Del., was honored in the spring with a park that now bears his name. Babiarz, 81, was Wilmington's mayor from 1961-68. He also served as state secretary of administrative services from 1973 to 1976 and as the city's director of commerce from 1977-81. Mayor John E. Babiarz Park is located at the foot of East Seventh Street. *
