V.P. visit

     U.S. Vice President Al Gore spoke to a capacity crowd at a
rally in the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center on Oct. 10.
Entering the song "Born to Run," Gore encouraged the enthusiastic
crowd to vote, spoke of President Bill Clinton's plans for the
future and joked about doing the latest dance craze, the
macarena, with YouDee, the Fightin' Blue Hen mascot.
