Honors for noted thespian

Adrian Hall, award-winning actor, director and playwright, was given an honorary doctor of humane letters, the highest honor the University bestows, in a January ceremony. Hall is considered one of the fathers of the American regional repertory theatre movement and one of the most influential American theatre directors of the post-World War II era. Since 1999, he has mentored students in UD’s Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP). Chatting after the honorary degree ceremony are (from left) Adrian Hall, PTTP student Mark D.
