Memories 'preserved in our hearts'

"The University of Delaware is a central part of our lives. We are delighted that our oldest daughter, Sarah, graduated from UD in elementary education and that our youngest daughter, Maggie, is pursuing a degree in leadership. Memories of UD are preserved in our hearts, and our commitment to this extraordinary institution remains constant."

The University of Delaware provided me with an exceptional undergraduate and graduate education in the field of art conservation and remains a significant part of my life, personally and professionally. Many UD faculty members inspired me and instilled in me a passion to preserve our endangered photographic heritage—from the original acetate negatives that document the Dead Sea Scrolls to 19th-Century print collections in St. Petersburg, Russia.

I am proud to be a native Delawarean! From a Brandywine High School Bulldog to a University of Delaware Blue Hen, I received the best in an academic and life education. Words that frame my experience at the University include: Good friends, personal maturity, academic growth, intramurals, my fraternity and a strong ability to apply critical thinking to solve problems.
