UDaily e-mail offered in graphic format

Thousands of UD alumni and parents subscribe to UDaily's weekly e-mail service. In plain text format, it lists news of special interest to alumni and parents and includes direct links to those stories on UDaily.

Alumni and parents who use software that supports HTML-formatted e-mail (e.g., Microsoft Outlook and Netscape Navigator) now have the option of receiving UDaily's weekly e-mail in the more colorful and graphically rich HTML format.

"We are pleased to offer alumni, parents and friends the option to have UDaily arrive in a colorful and easy to read format. More than 20,000 UD friends enjoy getting the e-mail on a weekly basis and we hope that the HTML version is even more user friendly," Sharon Dorr, director of UD's Office of Alumni and University Relations, said.

To change from UDaily's plain text e-mail to HTML formatted e-mail, go to [www.udel.edu/PR/UDaily/subscription/], click on the "Subscribe to UDaily e-mail for Alumni/Parents" link and complete the form provided. Those who select the HTML formatted UDaily e-mail will no longer receive the plain text version.

"No matter which e-mail format you choose, you can count on UDaily to keep you up-to-date on UD news," Larry Elveru, UDaily editor, said.

"Two special editions of UDaily are available--one for alumni and another for parents. Subscribing to either of these services will bring you a weekly e-mail that lists news of special interest to alumni and parents," Elveru said.
