Eleanor Kriebel Appleyard CHEP '44 and John Appleyard AS '47 (front, center) of Pensacola, Fla., and three of their family members were collectively honored as Pensacola Junior College Foundation Fellows in July for their service to the college. John, a past foundation president, has served as principal faculty for the college's Elderhostel Program and twice helped head major financial campaigns, and Eleanor, a past college trustee, is current foundation president. Daughter-in-law Carolyn, son Richard, and daughter Diane, shown in the back row from left, were honored for contributing works from the family marketing agency, which John and Eleanor founded in 1959. Three hundred members of the community attended the event.
