Several new faculty members have joined the College this fall.

In the Department of Health and Exercise Sciences, William Farquhar, Slobodan Jaric, Christopher Knight and Lee Raymond have joined the faculty. Farquhar specializes in vascular physiology and Knight in neuromuscular changes associated with aging. Jaric's specialty is neuromuscular control, and Raymond is teaching courses in health and physical education.

Susan Loeb and Kathleen Schell have been named assistant professors in the Department of Nursing. Loeb's specialties are gerontologic nursing and community health. Schell, previously an instructor in nursing at UD, specializes in critical care nursing and problem-based learning.

Christopher Modlesky has joined the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. His research interests include the quality of bone formation under various conditions.
