Outstanding needs:

Two programs in the College of Business and Economics that have been identified as priorities for funding support are the Center for Corporate Governance and the Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship. The College is seeking both operating and endowment funds for these centers and their programs.

In addition, the College is committed to the principle that access to education should not be restricted because of cost. Scholarship support allows gifted and deserving students of limited means to obtain a UD education, while providing the University and the College with the resources to compete with other excellent universities for the brightest students. A donor may establish and name an endowed scholarship with a minimum gift of $25,000.

Graduate students are important to the research mission of the College and are likely to be tomorrow's leaders in business and government. Fellowships allow the College to compete for the best graduate students from around the world. A donor may create and name a fellowship with a minimum gift of $50,000.

To attract and retain top faculty members, the College also needs support for endowed chairs in such areas as information systems, finance and entrepreneurship. A named endowed chair may be established with a gift of $1 million, and a named endowed professorship with a gift of $350,000.
