The University of Delaware’s Center for International Studies works closely with the
faculty and students of the Latin American Studies program to support study
abroad and facilitate individual faculty/student research projects in Latin
America. The University of Delaware sponsors study-abroad programs in many
Latin American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica,
Ecuador, Martinique, Mexico, Panama, and Peru. Program lengths vary from
5 weeks (winter sessions) to a full semester. These uniquely varied opportunities
offer students an invaluable resource for developing international perspectives,
linguistic and pre-professional skills, and a first-hand understanding of
Latin American cultural realities.
The spring semester in Puebla-Cholula, Mexico,
is specially designed for Latin American Studies majors and minors.
