Latin American Studies
Study Abroad

The University of Delaware’s Center for International Studies works closely with the faculty and students of the Latin American Studies program to support study abroad and facilitate individual faculty/student research projects in Latin America. The University of Delaware sponsors study-abroad programs in many Latin American countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Martinique, Mexico, Panama, and Peru. Program lengths vary from 5 weeks (winter sessions) to a full semester. These uniquely varied opportunities offer students an invaluable resource for developing international perspectives, linguistic and pre-professional skills, and a first-hand understanding of Latin American cultural realities.

The spring semester in Puebla-Cholula, Mexico, is specially designed for Latin American Studies majors and minors.
