Mr. Richard Way

Richard Way is the architect of "Canadian Sport for Life" and its Long-Term Athlete Development Model - which has been adopted by Canada, the provinces and territories, and several European countries.

Way has worked for 12 years with the British Columbia government, mostly in coaching education and training. He has a Level 5 NCCP coaching certification, the highest in Canada.

Way represented Canada in luge and played soccer for the University of Calgary. He was director of sport for Vancouver/Whistler's successful 2010 Winter Olympics bid and executive of the Canadian Luge Association.
