Ms. Cathy Sellers
United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee

Cathy Sellers leads the U.S. Paralympics Track & Field Program as Associate Director of High Performance. Sellers has more than 25 years of experience in high performance, coaching and coaching education.

Sellers has worked at the USOC since 2003 as Manager of Coaching, where she directed and developed USOC coaching programs and assisted National Governing Bodies (NGBs) with coaching issues and educational development.

Prior to joining the USOC, Sellers was the Manager of Development Programs for USA Track & Field in Indianapolis, Ind., 1995-2003. Her responsibilities included directing the national and international programs for junior age athletes, creating the men's and women's developmental program for future Olympic athletes and writing and implementing athlete high performance plans.

Sellers has coached in both the high school and collegiate settings, including four All-Americans and one Olympian.
From 1995-1990, she worked at Cypress-Fairbanks High School in Houston, Texas as both the acting assistant principal and head coach of both the women's cross-country and track & field teams.

From 1990-1988, she held the position of assistant coach, women's track & field, at The Ohio State University, where she was responsible for cross-country, distance and multi-event athletes.

Sellers, received a Bachelor of Science from Texas Woman's University, where she was an All-American track & field athlete. She also received a Masters of Science from the University of Houston.
