Dr. Tom Kaminski

Thomas W. Kaminski, PhD, ATC, FACSM is currently Professor & Director of Athletic Training Education, University of Delaware. He graduated from Marietta (Ohio) College with a BS (Sports Medicine) in 1984, completed his MS (Exercise & Sports Science) at the University of Arizona in 1985 and gained his Doctorate at the University of Virginia in 1996. Tom is a fellow in the American College of Sports Medicine. He is associate editor for Athletic Therapy Today and a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Athletic Training. Additionally, he has served as a guest reviewer for many leading journals including MSSE, JSR, IJSM, and Archives of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Dr. Kaminski is a founding member of the International Ankle Consortium and a member of the Research Committee of the Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association (EATA). His research interests include ankle instability, mild traumatic brain injuries in women’s soccer, and functional performance assessment for the lower extremity.
