"Okinawa Champuru"
Based on what you have learned through the readings and lectures about Okinawa's postwar situation, draw up a proposal for its future development. State the goals and rationale of your plan and take into consideration the interests of different constituencies (among Okinawans, mainland Japanese, neighboring countries, the U.S. military, etc.). Also assess your plan's viability, indicating problems it would have to overcome to be realized.

NOTE: Remember that these writings should be about 250 to 500 words, rendered in clear English, and emailed to me (as a Word document attachment or directly in your email application) BEFORE the class session during which they will be discussed. They will each count 5% toward your final grade so they should be taken seriously!
