NOTE: The object of these informal writings is to get you to think about the readings for discussion in each of four specific weeks. They should all be no less than one page and no more than two (about 250 to 500 words). Although informal, they must all be rendered in clear English, free of typos and other such indications of inattention to your work. And, most importantly, they must be completed and emailed to me (as a Word document attachment or directly in your email application) BEFORE the class session during which they will be discussed. They will each count 5% toward your final grade so they should be taken seriously!
