Probably ever Japanese knows the story of Hachiko, the faithful Akita who awaited his master's return everyday at the station--even after his master had died. This monument to Hachiko stands outside Shibuya Station and is commonly used as the rendezvous point before heading out with friends into the shopping and entertainment areas of Shibuya. Sometimes the crowds are so big there that it's difficult to find those you intended to meet! Of course, it's pretty easy to spot a goofy gaijin.
