The University offers students a wide range of research opportunities. In addition to the extensive holdings of Morris Library, the University has strong slide and photographic collections in both the Art History Department's slide library and the History Media Center. The Center for Historic Architecture and Engineering provides numerous opportunities for field work through its close ties with federal and state historic preservation agencies. The Museum Studies Program offers courses leading to a certificate and administers an active internship program.
