NANCY MORRIS

Nancy Morris is an emergency preparedness planner for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security. She joined the agency in 2007 and has worked on various emergency preparedness projects focusing on topics such as child care and people with disabilities.
In addition to working for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Nancy serves on the Americans with Disabilities Act – Indiana Steering Committee. In this capacity, she guides efforts in emergency preparedness in the disability community.

Most recently, Nancy worked on the Indiana Emergency Response Planning Guide for Child Care Providers. After learning of a need, Nancy contacted several agencies to come together and develop guidance for child care facilities.

Nancy is a Veteran. She retired with a total of 23 years of service as a Sailor in US Navy and Soldier in the Indiana Army National Guard.
