CISC474, Spring 2005, P01 (class participation item 1)

If you don't already have an ECL account, apply for one. An ECL account is one that you can use to log into systems such as mlb.acad.ece.udel.edu (the main server for ECL accounts).
You also use ECL account to log into two systems will be using in this course: jaguar.cis.udel.edu, porsche.cis.udel.edu cluster (the parallel processing cluster.)
If you alredy have an account, you are done; you get a perfect score on this class participation item. Send me an email with "CISC474 P01" as the subject line, and the name of your ECL account in the body, and you are done.
If not, apply by going to http://www.eecis.udel.edu/NewAccount/ and apply for a new account.
Most of the form is self-explanatory. Here's the one part where you might need some hints. When it asks you if you have ECE/CIS accounts, say no unless you know that you already have one (i.e. you've filled out this form before.)
When your new account is active, send me an email (you don't have to send an email from that account; from anywhere is fine) with "CISC474 P01" as the subject line, and the username of your ECL account in the body.
