Passing through the Bermuda Triangle
On our way to St. John's we are passing through the infamous Bermuda Triangle between Bermuda, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Nothing really happened except one of the two acoustic Doppler current profilers has problems sending its pulses into the water, but this is little tribute to pay to this strangely quite, calm, and wide open place.
If Montana is called the Big-Sky country I do not know what the name for these skies should be. Huge cloud sheets sprinkle the horizon at one level and then a burst of cloud appears to explode vertical up in another place. I just took these two shots within 2 minutes from the aft deck. The view of one picture is to the east and that of the other is to the west. Can you tell which one is which? (Hint: We just had pork chops for dinner)
